Patricia Garip is Argus Media Contributing Latin America Editor based in Bogota, and regularly authors features, editorials and blogs. She previously served as Latin America Bureau Chief in Santiago and UN Correspondent in New York. Patricia has more than 25 years of experience as a journalist, and previously reported for VenEconomy and other media out of Caracas, and for Energy Intelligence Group and Reuters in New York. Patricia has a BA in communication arts from Villanova University and an MA in international relations, specialising in the Middle East, from the University of Chicago.
