The UK Supreme Court case on the Venezuelan Gold: What is its significance for Venezuelan Creditors? Dear Michele, During the week starting on 19th July 2021, the UK Supreme Court examined oral submissions from the legal teams representing Maduro and Guaido with respect to the country’s gold deposited in the Bank of England. Following the hearing, we are pleased to invite our investors and other creditors to join us for an interactive roundtable during which our distinguished speakers will debate the particulars presented in the court, as well as the impact of the hearing (and the letter from the UK Foreign Office in support of Guaido which was released immediately before the start of the hearing) on the creditors and the state of affairs of Venezuela’s competing administrations.
