Argentina's ruling party mulls fund to pay foreign debt

A faction of Argentina's ruling party led by Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner plans to submit a bill to Congress that would collect a 20% tax on undeclared assets for a fund to pay the $44.5 billion the country owes to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Juliana Di Tullio, a senator for the Frente de Todos ruling coalition, said Tuesday on Radio 10 in Buenos Aires that the fund would draw on at least some of the estimated $418 billion of undeclared assets held by Argentines abroa
